The International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI), the newest International Science Olympiad in the world, has announced that its 4th edition will be held in Singapore in 2027. This marks a significant milestone for both the IOAI and the global AI education community, as the competition continues to grow in scope and international participation.

The 2027 edition will be jointly hosted by AI Singapore (AISG) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. AISG is the national programme dedicated to building and anchoring deep AI capabilities across the country and NTU is one of Asia’s leading institutions of higher learning. With their combined strengths in cutting-edge research, education, and innovation, AISG and NTU Singapore provide a world-class platform for outstanding high school students from around the globe to showcase their knowledge, creativity, and potential in artificial intelligence.

Hosting the IOAI in Singapore presents a unique opportunity to spotlight the nation’s dynamic and fast-evolving AI ecosystem, which is backed by strong investments in talent development, research, and real-world deployment.
