The International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) in a nutshell

What?

The most prestigious global annual competition in AI for high-school students.

Why?

IOAI promotes AI education globally, rewards the brightest young minds in the AI field, and creates a network of future global leaders.

When, Where, Who?

The 2nd edition of IOAI will be in August 2025 in Beijing, China. The official delegations consist of up to 2 teams per country, 4 students each as well as a team leader.

GAITE?

To be truly inclusive, we created GAITE (Global AI Talent Empowerment) to assist countries / territories as they work towards joining the IOAI community on an equal footing.

History

IOAI is the first international olympiad in AI. The 1st edition of IOAI was in Burgas, Bulgaria August 9-15, 2024. A record number of 41 teams from 32 countries and territories from 6 continents participated.
