Rules & Format

These are the official Rules and Competition Format for the IOAI²: AI Models Track of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (IOAI) 2026.

The document describes the mission and objectives of the AI Models Track, participation requirements, competition procedures, evaluation methodology, ranking system, awards and recognition, publication of results, and the timeline for the competition and subsequent benchmark activities.

The Rules may be updated prior to the event to address omissions, inconsistencies, technical clarifications, or newly available information. Any such updates will not substantially alter the competition format or core participation principles.

Participating organizations are responsible for ensuring that their representatives fully understand and comply with these Rules and all associated technical requirements.
